Data Retention and Deletion

User accounts can be deleted upon request. When an account is deleted, personal information (name, email, and password) is removed or anonymized, and the account is locked. Public data, such as contributions to the dog contest registry, may remain without attribution to personal identity.

Service Providers

Account emails are delivered by Resend (Plus Five Five, Inc., United States). When such an email is sent, Resend receives your name, your email address and the content of the email, including the link, and processes them only to deliver it. We use Resend's sending region in the European Union (Ireland), but Resend is a United States company and may process the data in the United States.

Data Transfers and Storage

User accounts and all other data on this site are stored on our own servers within the European Union. The only exception is the account emails described above: transfers to Resend in the United States are covered by the EU Standard Contractual Clauses and the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, as set out in Resend's data processing agreement. We ensure that data processing and storage comply with GDPR requirements.
